BIOGRAPHY

maU. grew up with three brothers in the countryside, surrounded by greenery, a bamboo grove and the river slowly rippling in front of her house.

 

She and her brothers built a secret space in the bamboo grove and spent many hot summer days frolicking by the river while observing ants marching in lines, along with beetles and praying mantises.

 

maU. loved to watch dragonflies floating free...ly in the autumn evening skies filled with the changing colors of the season.

These experiences had a profound effect on her sense of colors and hues.

Her colorful abstract expressionism comes from her connection with nature.

 

She refined her freedom of expression in art school, especially as a result of working with plants, trees and flowers as subjects.

At the age of 23, maU. is becoming an accomplished artist specializing in the use of colored pencils.
